Aiphone & Exacq Expand Integration with Two-Way Audio

Aiphone and Exacq are making it even easier to bring intercom communications and video surveillance together within a single platform.
The latest Aiphone integration with exacqVision VMS now supports two-way audio via ONVIF, allowing operators to answer IX Series intercom calls and communicate directly with visitors without leaving the exacqVision client.
This new capability builds on the integration's existing support for live video monitoring and recording, I/O control, and event logging—creating a more unified security experience for operators, integrators, and end users
Intercom & Video — Together in One Platform
By connecting compatible Aiphone intercom stations with exacqVision, security teams can manage more of their day-to-day operations from one familiar interface.
The integration provides several key capabilities:
Monitor, Stream & RecordView and record live video and audio from connected Aiphone intercom stations directly within exacqVision.
Two-Way AudioOperators can now answer intercom calls and speak with visitors directly through the exacqVision client when using compatible IX Series stations.
Relay Control & Event LoggingControl connected relays to unlock doors, activate alarms, or trigger other actions while logging events within exacqVision for easier review and auditing.
Together, these capabilities give security personnel greater situational awareness while reducing the need to move between separate systems to manage video and visitor communications.
A Stronger Aiphone & Exacq Partnership
The expanded integration also comes alongside an important development in the relationship between the two manufacturers: Exacq has officially joined the Aiphone Technology Partner Program.
Aiphone and Exacq have worked together for years, but formalizing the partnership allows the two companies to collaborate even more closely on integration development, technical resources, and support.
For integrators, that means a more streamlined approach when designing solutions that combine intercom and video surveillance. For end users, it provides the confidence of knowing their systems are backed by an established partnership between two trusted security manufacturers.
The result is a more cohesive solution that allows organizations to see, hear, communicate, respond, and document events from a centralized security platform.
What Integrators Should Know
The new functionality creates an especially valuable opportunity for projects where customers already use—or are considering—both Aiphone intercoms and exacqVision VMS.
Rather than treating video surveillance and intercom communications as separate pieces of the security system, integrators can demonstrate how the technologies work together to simplify operations and improve response.
Compatibility note: The Aiphone DM7-HIDA supports streaming, monitoring, and recording of video and one-way audio but does not support two-way audio, relay control, or other advanced integration features.
