Quick Links

Looking for something specific? Jump directly to the update that interests you.

🤖 Scylla AI Integration

What's New

Exacq now integrates with Scylla AI, bringing advanced video analytics directly into the exacqVision platform. Receive intelligent AI events within the familiar Exacq interface for applications such as gun detection, perimeter intrusion, loitering, slip and fall detection, smoke and fire detection, aggressive behavior detection, and many more.

Why It Matters

Add advanced AI analytics to your existing Exacq system without replacing your VMS. By turning video into actionable intelligence, Scylla helps reduce nuisance alarms while improving situational awareness and response times.

📱 A New Mobile Experience

What's New

The redesigned exacqVision Mobile App delivers a faster, more intuitive experience for viewing live video, searching recorded footage, and managing multiple systems. The updated interface makes it easier than ever to stay connected while you're on the go.

Why It Matters

Whether you're responding to an alarm, checking on a facility after hours, or reviewing recorded video from the field, the new mobile experience helps you stay connected to your system wherever work takes you.

💰 New Built-by-Exacq Servers with Lifetime SSA

What's New

New Built-by-Exacq server part numbers now include a Lifetime Software Subscription Agreement (SSA), providing access to future software updates for the life of the recorder without annual SSA renewals.

Why It Matters

This change lowers the long-term cost of ownership while ensuring your system continues receiving new features, security enhancements, and ongoing software improvements.

📷 Automated Camera Inspection

What's New

Introduced in exacqVision 26.0, Automated Camera Inspection uses AI to compare a camera's live image against a known reference image. If the system detects an obstruction, camera movement, image degradation, or another unexpected change, it can automatically generate an alert.

Why It Matters

Camera issues often aren't discovered until they're needed most. Automated Camera Inspection helps identify potential problems proactively, reducing manual system checks and helping ensure your cameras are capturing the video you expect.

🔐 Microsoft Entra ID & Okta Integration

What's New

exacqVision 26.0 introduces native support for Microsoft Entra ID and Okta, allowing organizations to leverage Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and centralized user authentication across their exacqVision deployment.

Why It Matters

By integrating with your existing identity management platform, user administration becomes simpler while improving security and helping organizations align with modern IT best practices.

🎥 exacqVision Advantage with Illustra

What's New

When paired with eligible Illustra Pro and Flex cameras, exacqVision Advantage provides additional value through included exacqVision camera licenses and simplified camera deployment. Cameras can be automatically discovered, configured, and secured during installation, reducing setup time and streamlining deployment.

Why It Matters

Reduce licensing costs, simplify installations, and get more value from an end-to-end Johnson Controls video solution designed to work seamlessly together.

☁️ Wasabi S3 Cloud Archive

What's New

exacqVision supports archiving recorded video to Wasabi S3-compatible cloud storage, providing another option for scalable, off-site video retention and disaster recovery.

Why It Matters

Cloud archiving helps protect valuable evidence from hardware failures while making it easier to expand retention without continually investing in additional on-site storage.
